In August 2025 my dad was diagnosed with Lung Cancer which had spread to his brain as they found a tumour.
We became aware of his cancer as he had an unexpected seizure not long after we returned from a family holiday for my 40th birthday.
I felt like my world had fell apart as he was the last person that I expected to be diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer.
My dad has always been my best friend I’ve grow up by his side whilst he served 22 years in the Army and I’ve looked upto him my entire life.
He is the man that made me who I am today. He taught me to have good manners, to always be kind to work hard and to respect others.
He has never had a day off work for his entire life, he has a wicked sense of humour which is maybe why Sox UK came to life in the first place.
He is doing amazingly well and I am so proud to be his daughter. He is loved by many.
Before dad fell poorly he was always at my events he would always set them up with me and he features in some of my social media posts on Facebook and Instagram.
